watercolor prints for sale! January 09 2018, 0 Comments

A painter at heart, I am happy to bring my two favorite mediums together in this series of watercolor paintings! I spent many joyful hours creating scenes from the hot shop while I was at sea on board the Celebrity Equinox, and I'm excited to continue this work now that I am at home in Corning, New York.

I'm grateful for the team at Denko Imaging for helping me produce these prints.

embarkation day! December 08 2014, 2 Comments

I have accepted a position with the Corning Museum of Glass and will once again be blowing glass on a cruise ship, this time based in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. I left Columbus on December 6th, and I am boarding the Celebrity Solstice on December 9th in Auckland, New Zealand. I leave the ship in Sydney, Australia on March 22nd.

My family will be helping me to keep my happy thought bubbles website and business up and running while I'm gone. I won't be adding additional glass to the website until I return home, but my family has some glass in Cincinnati and in Columbus that can be made available. Send me a message!

I'm excited to blow glass and learn every day, I excited to see my Australian family, and I'm looking forward to Hot Pink Glass Shows and auctions for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. I'm sad though, to be away from home. I will write updates here and on Facebook, and I would love to hear from you, too. Please stay in touch!!

Love Meg

fancy photo shoot April 08 2014, 0 Comments

If you've had one or two conversations with me, I've probably told you about Fancy, my rabbit. There's also Chuckleberry, his high-strung roommate. These bunnies spend a lot of time with me; they come to work everyday and hop around my cubicle, and they accompany me when I travel. Fancy has spent time in two different glass studios and visited four states!

So, it seemed appropriate to do a rabbit+glass photo shoot. My favorite shot became the fancy note card, but the outtakes were just as much fun.
